How to plan a trip to Andaman and Nicobar Islands?
There are two ways to reach the Andaman & Nicobar Islands- either by ship or by flight. I caught spice jet flight from Dum Dum International Airport and flew to Veer Savarkar airport in Port Blair. There are also direct flights from Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad to Port Blair.
To boost Andaman and Nicobar tourism, there are always additional special flights during the peak seasons – October to May.

Which time is the best for visit to Andaman Nicobar islands?
In andaman and nicobar islands , You will be having two types of seasons. one is monsoon and another is summer. So it will be better to have a trip to andaman and nicobar in between october to february. But do not visit from may to september because in this time period , the islands face a tremendous monsoon period.
I landed on portblair in the month of November. It was a 7 days trip. So now I am gonna share each day's experience right in this blog.
DAY 1 : PORTBLAIR , THE CAPITAL
In the evening I just packed my shoes and went out for the famous central jail visit which carries a lot of memories regarding our freedom fighters.
DAY 2 : Havelok Islands
I stayed in the chicken hut in Barefoot Scuba Resort, which walked straight to the beach. These huts are available only to divers, at an affordable rate. It is equipped with a thick mattress covered with net, just enough for 2 people. The hut was the main reason I chose to dive with Barefoot. I couldn't have found any better accommodation than this.
DAY 3 : ROSS ISLANDS
Ross islands are actually made up of japanese archetecture but later it was captured by the britishers.
Now it is full of the residues of the memories of that time and made me feel very adventorous and at the same time nostalgic as well.
DAY 4 : RADHANAGAR BEACH
This beach is outstanding. I mean to say is that , this full of amazing views , natural beauty , amazing site views and what not. If you come to Andaman and nicobar tour , I would highly recommend to have a visit in this island beach and just have a bath in ocean water of the Bay Of Bengal.
DAY 5 : NEIL ISLAND
On day 5 , in the morning , I woke up and got ready to arrive at the port to catch the ship that was going to carry me towards Neil Islands. Neil Island also known as Saheed Dweep is an island belonging to the South Andaman district. The Island attracts a large number of tourists thanks to its pristine white beaches and natural beauty. Neil Island Port Blair distance is around 35 kilometres.
DAY 6: BACK TO PORT BLAIR
On the 6th day , I returned back to the port blair again and I stayed over there again in that same resort beach .
